Tami Lund, RN, BSN, MSA, is the founder of LTC Quality Solutions. Tami has over 30 years of experience in long term care, starting as a Certified Nursing Assistant, then serving in progressive roles as an RN Charge Nurse, MDS Coordinator, Director of Nursing, and Nursing Home Administrator. She has also worked as a Quality Manager in PACE (Programs for All Inclusive Care of the Elderly), and as a Corporate RN Consultant for PACE, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing facilities in Iowa and Nebraska.
One of Tami's passions is Quality Improvement; in addition to leading QAPI teams in her roles as DON and Administrator, and PACE Quality manager in LTC organizations, she has experience as a former award winning AHCA/NCAL Bronze and Silver Quality award applicant. She then became a Silver Award Examiner/team leader for the AHCA/NCAL Quality award program from 2013-2022. She then served for 2 years as a Gold Award Examiner before returning to serve as a Silver Examiner/team leader in the 2023 award season. Tami loves health care data, software solutions, and spreadsheets, and teaching interested health care leaders to implement quality improvement and data analysis in their organizations.
